The heart of your treatment

Individual therapy is a personal experience between the client and primary therapist and is an important element of the treatment process. Individual therapy allows for clients to explore issues in an intimate and confidential setting. Quiet often, when clients and their primary therapist address issues during Individual therapy, it creates a more successful experience in other aspects of treatment for the client.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

At Next Chapter, each client is assigned a primary therapist that will meet with them regularly for individual therapy. Individual therapy is an opportunity for clients to work collaboratively with their therapist to create an individualized treatment plan. Our therapists provide a level of privacy that offers the best setting for addressing individual needs. During individual therapy, therapists will aid in conducting strategies for achieving the goals outlined in the client’s treatment plan.

 THERAPIES WE EMPLOY

Next Chapter employs several types of individual therapy techniques in our treatment model.

  • Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Rational-Emotive Therapy (RET)
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • EMDR – Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
  • Somatic Experiencing
  • Healing Touch/Energy Work

We offer an extensively well-rounded treatment program that ensures therapists do not handle more than six clients at a time. This allows greater focus on our clients’ individual needs and allows therapy to be tailored to each client’s unique traits, backgrounds, issues, values, strengths and weaknesses. Therapists will work to help clients identify their unique needs and formulate individual treatment plans to address those needs.

Our therapists will assess each client for a variety of conditions including mental health issues, alcohol, drug, gambling, work, internet, sex and love addictions as well as PTSD and all forms of trauma and co-dependency.
